Indoor exposition
The new museum exhibition, which opened on May 21st., 2022, features more than 15 different spaces divided into stations and platforms. In our Virtual Reality (VR) game, you'll encounter the daily challenges of a train driver, in the luggage room, you'll find pieces of left-behind luggage (or maybe just bags and tickets that you’ve only seen in your grandmother's closet) that tell the true stories of train journeys. The archives of Lithuania's first stations will help you understand the spirit of different historical periods. Visit Train, Signal, Work and other stations, where you can explore the mysteries of railway history on your own or with a guide. In the Children's Station, dedicated to the Museum's youngest guests, you'll get a close-up view of a working model railway, and you'll be able to wander onto the Challenge, Toddler, Discovery and Game platforms!
The museum offers a free audioguide service.
